February is a very busy month. There are lots of holidays and special themes that our elementary students will be celebrating and participating in. One major theme at the Verbena Annex is celebrating Black History. The students have projects which will be on display later this month. February is also National Children's Dental Health Month and American Heart Association Month. Special days in February include Feb. 2-Groundhog Day, Feb. 14-Valentine's Day, and February 21-Presidents' Day.
Progress reports for the 3rd nine weeks will be given on Feb. 8.
